CranioSacral (SM)

$75.00 per 60 minutes

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.

Energy Work

$75.00 per 60 minutes

Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a "life force", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.

High Touch Jin Shin

$75.00 per 60 minutes

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a disarmingly simple system of acupressure. It lays out a set of 26 "points" along the major energy pathways of your body. If one of your pathways becomes blocked, this creates stagnation in your energy field and leads to illness or discomfort. The practitioner uses his/her hands to gently release any blockages in your energy pathways, and restore balance to your entire system. The whole experience is very relaxing, nurturing and therapeutic.  the therapy I practice is a form of Jin Shin Jyutsu called High Touch Jin Shin Acupressure based on the same theory and administered in the same manner.

Lymphatic Drainage

$75.00 per 60 minutes

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.

Oriental Bodywork

$75.00 per 60 minutes

Oriental bodywork aims to restore and balance the flow of energy (Chi) throughout your body. It uses gentle hand and finger pressure along specific points and energy pathways (meridians) on your body to restore your body to full health. There are many forms of Oriental bodywork, but they all share a common foundation in Chinese Medicine. They simply differ in their use of specific techniques to balance your energy.

Polarity Therapy

$75.00 per 60 minutes

Polarity therapy is a type of bodywork which is focused on the energy fields of the body, rather than the physical body itself. This type of body work is also called energy work, because the practitioner attempts to adjust the skewed energy fields of the body and bring them into balance. During a polarity therapy session, the therapist and client usually work together in a very calm, relaxed environment.

Reiki

$75.00 per 60 minutes

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.

Acupuncture

$50.00 per 30 minutes

Acupuncture is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine that treats patients by insertion and manipulation of needles in the body. It can be used to relieve pain, treat infertility, treat disease processes, prevent disease, promotes general health, or can be used for therapeutic purposes. Acupuncture can also be used for Facial Rejuvination, Weight Loss, Smoking Cessation and Alcohol & Drug Addiction.  Acupuncture typically incorporates Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as an integral part of its practice and theory incorporating the use of herbal formulas, applying an electric current to needles and the use of moxabustion.  Acupuncture dates back 5000 years, with written records from the second century BCE and is taught in its original form to this day.

Raindrop ssential EOil Therapy

$90.00 per 60 minutes

Raindrop Essential Oil Therapy combines aromatherapy, reflexology, and more to create a healing and cleansing massage.  The purpose of the therapy is to bring total balance, a sense of harmony, and body wellness including mental, physical, and emotional through the techniques used.  The premise behind this massage therapy is that the use of specific antimicrobial oils applied in a particular sequence with various techniques will reduce the body’s inflammations and destroy any viral presence.  Although the original theory behind this is to heal problems of the spine, modifications can be incorporated into the therapy to treat other conditions.  Discovered through the research of D. Gary Young in the 1980s, raindrop therapy focuses on the application of a number of specific essential oils to the feet and spine and following up with a hot compress on the back and light massage.

Cupping Therapy

$25.00 per 20 minutes

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses fire cupping - described as the use of heated cups which when placed against the skin creates a suction in the cups which draws the skin into it. This technique is said to promote blood circulation, remove stasis, and alleviate swelling and pain.  It is employed especially when there is a toxic heat syndrome and for a variety of acute ailments.   Although most patients state that this therapy is not painful, it can leave bruising on the skin where the cups were placed.  It is usually used in conjunction with acupuncture to help allieviate pain or clear stagnation.
